Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a typical bespoke new build take?

The timeline varies significantly depending on the size and complexity of the project. A typical bespoke new build of 3,000–5,000 sq ft takes 12–18 months from planning to handover. We will provide a detailed programme at the design stage.

What is the minimum budget for a Karma Indika project?

We typically work on projects with a construction budget of £200,000 and above. However, we are happy to discuss your project and assess whether it is a good fit during an initial consultation.

Do you work outside of London?

Yes. While the majority of our projects are in London and the Home Counties, we have completed projects across England and Wales. Please contact us to discuss your location.

Can you work with my own architect?

Absolutely. We work regularly with external architects and are experienced in delivering construction projects under a variety of contractual arrangements. We can act as main contractor, design-and-build contractor, or construction manager.

Are your smart home systems future-proof?

We specify and install open-protocol systems from market-leading brands such as Crestron, Lutron, and Control4. These systems are regularly updated and supported, and can be expanded or upgraded as technology evolves.

What warranties do you provide?

All new builds are covered by an NHBC Buildmark warranty. Smart home systems carry manufacturer warranties of between 2 and 5 years. Renewable energy installations carry MCS certification. We also offer our own 12-month workmanship guarantee on all projects.
